Cheap flights and Cheap Holidays to Prague

Prague is one of the most visited cities in Europe, with historical, cultural and architectural sights that have been preserved with great care over the centuries. Renaissance, Baroque, Gothic and Art Nouveau styles blend together in a horde of shapes and colours, creating breathtaking sights at every step you take in the Czech capital.

What to visit in Prague

The Prague Castle

Originally built as a fortress, today it is the residence of the President of the Czech Republic. It is a unique place where you meet the most important architectural styles of the last millennium. At night it offers a veritable light show on the walls.

The Charles Bridge

It is one of the most beautiful places. The best time to visit it is at nightfall, when it has a special charm due to the lights and statues.

One of the most important statues here is of King Charles, who built the bridge.

The Cathedral of Saint Vitus

The greatest Roman Catholic cathedral in the Czech Republic, which took more than 500 years to build, combines the Marocco and Neo-Gothic styles. The Gothic style is also harmoniously combined with the Renaissance style.

The Old Centre

Restaurants, terraces, pubs, entertainment and leisure centres, art galleries and museums, concentrated in the historic centre. Here you can go for a walk or enjoy tasty dishes.

Tyn Church, St. Nicholas Church, the Astronomical Clock Tower of the Town Hall - attractions that should also be visited.

The Dancing House

The building that makes you think of two dancers, with one of the towers of the house shaped like a woman's figure. Up in the tower you'll be able to admire a lovely view over the city.

The Municipal House

The most beautiful in the Art Nouveau style. There are several important concert halls here, including the Smetana Hall. It mainly hosts Symphony Orchestra concerts, Spring Festival or organ concerts.

The Golden Street

One of the most famous streets, with 11 brightly coloured houses. The name comes from the fact that goldsmiths used to live here.

The Vysehrad Castle

A fortress with a mysterious history. Now the castle is the residence of the Czech President. A beautiful view of the city opens up from here.

The Zoo

Ranked, according to visitor reviews, as the 10th largest zoo in the world, it is home to some 700 species of animals, some of them endangered. Situated over a large area, a visit can be from a chairlift, from where you get a good view of the tropical jungle beyond.
