The Republic of Moldova in the orange zone for France!

To travel to France, citizens of the Republic of Moldova must meet one of the conditions below:

  1. Vaccinated persons:
  • Certificate of vaccination (with one of the vaccines: Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca or Johnson & Johnson. The second dose of vaccine must be administered at least 2 weeks before departure.
  • Negative PCR test, performed no more than 72 hours before boarding or antigen test performed no earlier than 48 hours.
  • Statement attesting the absence of symptoms of disease.
  1. Without vaccination certificate:
  • Negative PCR test performed not more than 72 hours before boarding or antigen test performed not earlier than 48 hours.
  • Self-declaration to comply with the self-isolation regime (7 days) at a specified address and the possibility to be asked for an additional antigen test after the self-isolation period.
  • Statement attesting the absence of symptoms of disease.
  • Categories of travelers:
  • Citizen of French nationality, as well as his / her spouse (married, civil partnership, cohabitation, with the presentation of supporting documents) and their children;
  • Citizen of the European Union or of the Principality of Andorra, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Norway, San Marino, Switzerland, Vatican, as well as their spouse (married, civil union, partner, on presentation of supporting documents) and their children who have their main residence in France;
  • Third-country national, holder of a valid French or European residence permit or long-stay visa, whose main residence is in France or who is in transit via France to his/her main residence in a country of the European Union or the European area (Andorra, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Norway, San Marino, Switzerland, Vatican) (valid only if the trip abroad took place before 31 January 2021 or is justified by an exceptional reason);
  • British citizen and their family members who are beneficiaries of the withdrawal agreement of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland from the European Union and the European Atomic Energy Community (valid only if the trip abroad took place before 31 January 2021 or is justified by an exceptional reason);
  • Third-country citizen holding a long-stay visa issued on the basis of family reunification or refugee family reunification. Beneficiaries of subsidiary protection and stateless persons;
  • Foreign health professional contributing to the fight against Covid-19 or recruited as an associate trainee;
  • Third country citizen holding a VLS "talent passport";
  • Student moving to France for the second academic semester as part of the program of a higher education institution; Researcher established in France at the invitation of a research laboratory, for research activities requiring physical presence;
  • Workers or providers of land, sea and air transport services, including drivers of any vehicle transporting goods owned for use on the territory of France, as well as those transiting France or travelling to reach their place of departure or training;
  • Foreign citizens serving in a diplomatic or consular mission or international organization based in France, their spouses and children, or foreign citizens in France for imperative professional reasons, on the basis of a mission order issued by their State of origin;
  • Third-country citizens in transit for less than 24 hours in the international zone.
